Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a self catering cottage which is available between April 1st to October 31st and is let by the owner.

It is furnished in a comfortable style and, as it also used as a second home, has personal pictures and books. There is a large garden and off road parking. The cottage is in Northumberland near the Scottish Border and just outside the National Park on the edge of the Cheviot Hills. You can walk the hills from the front door through virtually uninhabited country.

Rose Cottage is located in the hamlet of High Humbleton. Humbleton now consists of only 11 houses with a village green. It was once a substantial village and older than the small country town of Wooler which is one mile away. Wooler has excellent food shops,5 pubs and 2 hotels.
